About the workshop

Structured movement techniques often assume a particular body type. Debbie has restructured her teaching of Horton technique so students can work with the physical qualities of their own bodies instead of forcing their bodies to fit the technique.

You’ll explore your bone structure and mobility, recognize what is unique about the way you move, and apply that knowledge to Horton. The aim is to make informed, healthy choices about modifications while working toward the technique’s aesthetic.
